Not an ordanarie windy wellington day.

It all started on a thursday night walking into the wind trying to get to the car.The wind was so strong that I could lean 45 degrees into the wind.If you dont know what if talking about im talking about the big storm on thursday the 20 of june. When I got home from the college meeting the power went out and we couldnt see a thing. The only thing that lit up the room was the fireplace untill we got the big dolphin torch and some candles. When I woke up I put on some warm clothes and went down to the bottom of my section to see that 12 10 metere trees had fallen down include ing the really big tree that had my swing rope on it.4 trees had fallen on the fences and all the others were either on 45 deggere angles or flat on the ground. It was so windy still that my dog Jess ran up the hill because of the roaring wind.My dad was at work so I rung him up to tell him what happened and asked him why the power went out, and he said that the roof of the factor down the road blew into the power pole.We still have 8 trees down but that's not much of a problem at the moment. When the power came back on me and my mum went down the road and clapped for the workers. The power was out for 19 hours but it was a cool experience.
